Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with emphasis in a discipline related to assignments (e.g., mechanical, civil or electrical).
• Job-related experience, 7 years.
• Masters Degree or equivalent experience.
• PE-Professional Engineer license.
• Travel required; frequency depends on assignment (10% -75%).

Responsibilities

• Mentor and direct a team or teams of engineers and engineering technicians with diverse backgrounds.
• Independently develops and executes new practical solutions to highly complex problems.
• Develops relationships within partner functional areas to assess client business interests and identify ATS opportunities.
• Continually identifies and executes business, lab, testing, or process improvements.
• Leads and manages projects and programs independently with ownership of scope, schedule, budget and communications.
• Oversees assembly of technical systems and prototypes according to engineering standards.
• Develops and deploys advanced probabilistic risk models to quantify asset health and failure probability.
• Represents PG&E and communicates findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
