Job summary

Earth Advantage is seeking an experienced Project Manager for multifamily green building certification projects in the Pacific Northwest. You will coordinate certification services, review technical docs, and support housing organizations while collaborating with energy modeling staff and field verification teams.

The role emphasizes delivering certification outcomes, managing schedules and client relations, with opportunities to represent Earth Advantage in trainings, events, and industry

Qualifications

• Five+ years of relevant professional experience in multifamily construction, architecture, engineering, construction management, sustainability, building performance, affordable housing, or related field.
• Ability to independently manage multiple complex projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of multifamily construction and building science, including ability to read/interpret drawings and specs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel periodically throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of multifamily projects pursuing Earth Advantage Multifamily, LEED for Homes, and/or other certifications.
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and deadlines.
• Coordinate certification services with funding, incentives, tax credits, or verifier requirements.
• Maintain accurate project information in CRM/PM/file management systems.
• Review construction drawings and documentation for certification compliance.
• Collaborate with energy modeling staff to coordinate modeling deliverables.
• Support affordable housing organizations and project teams in navigating certification requirements.
• Build relationships with developers and project partners.
• Explain complex technical requirements in understandable terms.
• Assist in improving certification workflows and internal tools.
