Job summary

Eversource is seeking a Senior Project Cost Analyst in Massachusetts to monitor budgets, forecast costs, and support project decisions within the Transmission Project Management Organization.

The role requires strong analytical skills, budgeting acumen and effective communication with finance, tax, and procurement teams. A hybrid schedule applies, with in-office presence and flexibility based on department needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent work experience is required.
• Degree in finance strongly preferred.
• Five (5) plus years of experience in cost is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and communicate project costs, variances and completion costs.
• Prepare cost performance and productivity reports for projects.
• Review bid specifications, change orders, invoices and performance for vendors and contractors.
• Evaluate the cost impact of scope changes and productivity changes.
• Coordinate the preparation of project work orders or purchase orders.
• Interface with financial and tax departments, and with Purchasing and Stores.
• Benchmark against other utilities to assess relative performance.
• Provide actual man-hour and productivity input to Planning and Scheduling.
