Job summary

Illinois Public Health Institute (IPHI) seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead healthcare and community integration initiatives in Illinois. The role focuses on coordinating across IPHI teams, partners, and state stakeholders to advance health-related social needs, workforce development, and policy-relevant system changes.

You will translate program goals into actionable plans, ensure high-quality execution, and support continuous improvement across IPHI initiatives, reporting to the Chief

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or master’s preferred in public health or related field (or equivalent 4–5 years of public health experience).
• Minimum 6 years of applied/relevant professional experience in public health or related field.
• Knowledge of Illinois healthcare and payor partners and healthcare systems design; Medicaid experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day implementation of IPHI projects and programs with a focus on healthcare integration and capacity-building.
• Design and manage project plans, track timelines, milestones, and deliverables in line with grant requirements.
• Collect and analyze program data; support dissemination and present findings to stakeholders.
• Monitor budgets and invoices; ensure accurate and timely payments.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and facilitate discussions with diverse partners.
