Job summary

Production Planner / Master Scheduler 2 is sought in Phoenix, AZ for a contract role within the semiconductor industry. You will coordinate production schedules, manage material flow, and monitor inventory and sales order activity to ensure on-time delivery of products and spare parts.

Responsibilities include expediting critical materials, reviewing forecasts, maintaining material control data, and interfacing with multiple teams to align production with schedules.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Warehouse Logistics, Manufacturing, Spares Operations, Inventory Control, or Production Planning.
• 2+ years in a fast-paced production, logistics, or operational environment.
• 2+ years supporting internal and external customers through scheduling, planning, or materials management.
• 2+ years using problem-solving, organizational, and coordination skills in an operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a timely flow of raw materials, parts, subassemblies, assemblies, or finished goods from external and/or internal suppliers. Locates and expedites critical materials.
• Review and monitor open sales order reports, forecast schedules, and stock inventory; maintain, update, and input material control data system or records and verifies reports for accuracy; adjusts material counts when discrepancies are noted.
• Represent the department in shipment status meetings and follows-up to ensure commitments are met.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate and/or monitor final approval of products through the complete production cycle.
• Coordinate production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.
• Provide input to management; schedules and/or interfaces with Marketing, Sales, Production and Engineering managers.
