Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a Procurement Specialist/Category Manager hybrid role in Bridgewater, NJ. You will manage direct/contract manufacturing spending, optimize sourcing, and lead cross-functional projects to deliver value and supply continuity for nutrition brands.

Ideal candidates possess a Bachelor’s with 3+ years in purchasing, SAP/Ariba experience, and strong stakeholder management. The role may be remote or hybrid based on location, with strong ties to Bridgewater, NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Master’s Degree or higher preferred.
• CPM Certification a plus.
• 3+ years purchasing and/or material management experience and/or Technical/manufacturing experience preferred.
• SAP, Ariba and I-Nexus experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term Category Sourcing Strategies to minimize risk and cost.
• Lead supplier performance reviews with cross-functional partners.
• Support new products or technology launches with supplier partnerships.
• Drive digital, automated, and AI-enabled processes (tail spend management).
• Manage budget and price forecast review processes with cost modeling and market knowledge.
• Act as Single Point of Contact for assigned Categories and ensure supplier compliance.
