Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a Procurement Specialist/Category Manager to manage direct or contract manufacturing spend. The role blends category management with procurement support across markets, driving sourcing strategies and supplier negotiations.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to optimize pricing, contracts, and supplier performance, leveraging global and local strategies to create sustainable value for the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
• Master’s Degree or higher preferred.
• CPM Certification a plus.
• 3+ years purchasing and/or material management experience preferred.
• SAP, Ariba and I‑Nexus experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long‑term Category Sourcing Strategies including activities to minimize risk and price exposure.
• Develop continuous improvement project pipeline to deliver year‑over‑year productivity.
• Lead supplier performance reviews with cross‑functional partners.
• Support new products or technology launches with supplier partnerships.
• Act as Single Point of Contact for assigned Categories and drive savings and compliance objectives.
• Monitor and adapt strategies based on market conditions and business needs.
