Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Lead Portfolio Management Specialist to coordinate the capital investment planning process for the Midwest Power Grid Operations. The role focuses on ECO cycle and five-year plans, aligning roadmaps with enterprise objectives and budgets.

The position requires strong portfolio management expertise, leadership, and risk assessment capabilities, with hybrid work three days in office per week across Plainfield, IN and Cincinnati, OH. Travel 15-25% may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years related work experience OR HS/GED and 12+ years related work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Expertise in portfolio management, leadership, oversight, decision making, critical thinking, and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end capital investment planning in the Midwest Power Grid Operations (PGO).
• Align roadmaps, plans and budgets with program objectives and enterprise plans.
• Maintain and update the Strategic Program Roadmap and annual costs/risks at the program level.
