Job summary

Harris Associates L.P. in Chicago, IL seeks a dynamic investment analyst to lead cross-functional projects and coach junior team members. You will partner with portfolio teams to support ad-hoc analyses, measure performance, and ensure GIPS compliance across the firm.

This role emphasizes rigorous data handling and clear attribution communication to stakeholders. Eligible for telecommuting within reasonable commuting distance from Chicago, with in-office presence several days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Accounting or Finance and 3 years of experience in investment/finance analysis.
• Experience with performance analysis and risk measurement is required.
• Data management skills on Excel and Power BI are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross functional project work with other teams as required.
• Coach junior team members on processes and analysis requests.
• Identify issues or opportunities for process improvements and lead implementations.
• Ensure adherence to Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) and coordinate with external verifier.
• Support ad-hoc analyses for Portfolio Managers and Client Portfolio Managers.
• Prepare and review risk and return data for client reports and presentations.
• Review and approve team deliverables and maintain strong controls.
