Aston Carter is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist for a hybrid role in Clearwater, FL. You will oversee bi-weekly payroll, handle deductions, and manage garnishments, ensuring timely, accurate payments across multiple cycles.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of payroll experience, proficiency with ERP systems like UKG Pro or Kronos, and solid Excel skills. CPA or CPP are a plus, with on-site training and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience.
• Experience with mid-large ERP systems (UKG Pro, Kronos preferred).
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bi-weekly payroll processes, including payment processing, expenses, and deductions.
• Upload records, deductions, and retroactive increases in the payroll system.
• Process payroll calculations on various pay cycles and manage garnishments.
• Assist with payroll tax processing at the end of the month.
• Ensure accurate and timely payments of all federal, state, local, and provincial withholding and unemployment taxes, including CPP, EI, and Workers’ Compensation.
• Assist with both internal and external payroll tax audits.
• Support project-based work during implementation projects and software updates, including running mock payrolls and creating reports for the team.
