The Senior Manager, Trusts & Estates at the ASPCA leads bequest file administration, coordinating with attorneys and fiduciaries while managing a three-person team. The role reports to the Senior Director and sits in a hybrid NYC location, with travel up to 5% as needed.

Qualifying candidates will have 3+ years in Trust & Estates or related field, strong MS Office and donor software skills, and a track record of rigorous data management and discretion in sensitive matters.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Trust & Estates/paralegal role or equivalent.
• Experience reading wills and documenting next steps.
• Experience in fast-paced environment.
• Strong writing and accounting statement review skills.
• Ability to manage staff and travel up to 5%.

Responsabilités

• Oversee bequest file administration and maintain internal bequest database.
• Open new estate files and correspond with attorneys and fiduciaries; escalate issues as needed.
• Review correspondence and accounting statements; elevate litigation or problem files as appropriate.
• Process invoices from outside counsel and maintain calculations of litigation fees.
• Record revenue accurately for reporting to Planned Giving and Finance Departments.
• Collaborate with Trusts & Estates Administrator on non-probate gifts.
