Job summary

Duckhorn Wine Company is seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial Finance to lead the Commercial Finance Center of Excellence, linking Finance with the company’s commercial organization across Wholesale and DTC channels. You will own gross-to-net forecasting, budget stewardship, and analytics to enable smarter commercial decisions aligned with LRP and AOP objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA a plus.
• 7–10 years of progressive finance experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or business partnering.
• CPG, beverage alcohol, or luxury goods experience preferred; wine industry a plus.
• Experience with GTN modeling, discount management, and P&L ownership.
• Expert Excel modeling skills; Power BI or Anaplan strongly preferred.
• Ability to turn complex financials into clear, actionable stories for non-finance partners.
• Strong influencing skills with a track record of driving decisions without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Own Forecasting, Close, and Reporting for Gross-To-Net for Wholesale and DTC.
• Lead trade spend forecast and accrual process with Accounting.
• Deliver monthly forecast vs. actuals analyses with narrative on drivers.
• Support AOP and LRP revenue modeling for multi-year planning.
• Own OpEx budget framework with FP&A and Accounting; track monthly reporting.
• Partner with Brand and Marketing on budgets with clear ROI rationale.
• Build and maintain dashboards giving senior leaders KPI visibility.
