GFT is seeking a Linear (Pipeline) Design Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater Team in Pennsylvania offices. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance in the office.

Joining the water resources team at GFT means contributing to innovative solutions for sustainable water management and infrastructure. The Senior Engineer will lead design efforts, manage projects from inception to construction, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with clients and other

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, mechanical, chemical engineering or related field.
• 8–15 years of linear water pipeline design experience.
• Experience with design, permitting, and construction of water/wastewater systems.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent technical writing skills.
• Experience managing preparation of and reviewing project drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on linear water/wastewater design projects.
• Manage planning, design, and construction of water distribution, wastewater, stormwater systems, and pump/lift stations.
• Prepare construction documents and specifications.
• Develop cost estimates and project schedules and ensure delivery within budget.
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff.
