Job summary

Sayres Defense seeks a Senior Program Lifecycle Sustainment Analyst in Washington, DC, with a Secret Clearance. The role is hybrid/remote with 2-3 days onsite, supporting lifecycle planning from development through deployment and end‑of‑life.

You will coordinate inputs, manage readiness and lifecycle KPIs, and craft executive briefings for senior leadership. Applicants should have 15+ years in DoD/Navy sustainment, LCMP experience, and strong cost/analysis capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Logistics, Systems Engineering or related field.
• 15 years of DoD/Navy sustainment or programme management experience.
• Experience developing LCMPs and supporting POM/budget submissions.
• Strong fleet readiness and total ownership cost analysis background.
• Experience with NAVSEA or equivalent DoD commands.
• Ability to develop and present executive‑level briefings and decision materials.
• Proficient data analysis, reporting tools, and lifecycle decision‑making.

Responsibilities

• Support lifecycle sustainment across product lines from development to end‑of‑life.
• Coordinate maintenance concepts, spares planning, and supportability analysis.
• Assist with readiness drivers, obsolescence risks, and KPIs across the lifecycle.
• Support POM cycle preparations, data calls, funding alignment, and capability trade analyses.
• Prepare briefing materials and decision support documentation for leadership reviews.
• Coordinate with multiple enterprises, warfare centers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Translate technical data into executive‑level briefings and track action items and risks.
