Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to manage CORE's budgets and financial reporting. The role focuses on grants budgeting, payroll and financial systems enhancements, and ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements.

The candidate will collaborate with project teams, develop funder reports, and support post-award activities. This full-time, day-shift position is based in Portland, Oregon, within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an industry-related field.
• 2 years' experience in business intelligence, financial reporting, or operational reporting.
• 7 years' experience with grants management and/or accounting.
• 2 years pre-award and/or post-award grants management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees CORE's master department budget and project budgets, including budget development, expense management, and analysis.
• Develops budgets for grants and contracts, manages expenses for grants and contracts, and provides budget analysis for the department.
• Leads process improvement related to financial systems and ensures compliance with regulations.
• Develops reports to funders and quarterly financial reports.
• Writes budgets for research grants and ensures spending complies with federal regulations.
• Maintains relationships with external partners to facilitate finance work.
