Job summary

Providence Health Plan Group is seeking a Grants and Contracts Administrator to analyze trial documents and collaborate with clinical teams to develop and negotiate budgets that cover institutional research costs. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration or related field, or 4 years of relevant working experience.
• 3 years of closely related experience in healthcare, research finance, budget negotiation on pharmaceutical sponsored industry research and experience with trials and clinical trial agreements.
• Preferred: 4 years experience in research finance, budget negotiation on sponsored trials, clinical trial agreements, healthcare administration.

Responsibilities

• The Grants and Contracts Administrator analyzes essential trials documents and collaborates with clinical teams to develop and negotiate comprehensive budgets that cover institutional research costs.
• They work with pharmaceutical companies, medical device companies, clinical research organizations (CROs), and external vendors to negotiate study specific budgets, contract payment terms, master agreements, master fee schedules, and vendor service agreements.
• Training of lower level Grants and Contracts Administrators.
