Job summary

Taboola’s Demand R&D team is seeking a Fullstack Engineer to build flagship recommendation products from backend services to ad formats on publisher pages for billions of users. You’ll own features end-to-end, work across stacks, and shape performance-based decisions with data and metrics.

Ideally you have 3+ years of fullstack experience, strong Java/JS skills, and familiarity with databases. A BSc in CS or equivalent is expected, with hybrid work in the US.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on programming experience in fullstack development.
• Experience with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor).
• Solid server-side development in Java or similar language.
• Strong front-end knowledge: vanilla JS, CSS, HTML; React/TypeScript a plus.
• Experience with databases and scalable systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Build features end-to-end across backend and client-side components.
• Develop new ad formats and high-scale backend services.
• Use big data and performance metrics to guide decisions.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, and UX teams.
• Contribute to reliability, observability, and maintenance.
