Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a senior software engineer to develop and support Customer Order Management and Supply Chain apps. Hybrid work is in-office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The role demands strong Java Spring Boot backend and modern frontend skills, plus CI/CD with Jenkins and cloud deployments.

You will work with Jira/Confluence, Docker/Kubernetes, and SQL databases, while coordinating with stakeholders to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 6–10 years of software development and implementation experience.
• Strong experience with Agile, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• Hands-on CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Backend: Java with Spring Boot and modern features.
• Frontend: React or Angular with TypeScript proficiency.
• Containers and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud deployments on Azure or GCP.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Microservices architecture and Linux shell scripting.
• Strong SDLC, unit testing, and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead full software development lifecycle: design, develop, test, deploy.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate needs into enterprise applications.
• Guide teams within Scrum or Kanban and mentor junior developers.
• Architect and deploy applications to cloud platforms.
• Champion AI-assisted development and modern tooling practices.
• Ensure performance, security, and data integrity across services.
