Job summary

The Judicial Council of California seeks a Senior Fiscal Analyst to deliver advanced budget support within the State Budget unit of Budget Services. You will oversee capital outlay programs, forecast cash flow, and manage bond sale processes across projects.

Responsibilities include preparing budget documents, COBCPs, and fiscal displays, reviewing requisitions, and ensuring compliance with appropriation periods. Hybrid work with SF orSacramento offices, two days on-site per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field with four years of professional experience in accounting, financial analysis, budgetary, or contract administration/procurement.
• One year of experience can substitute for one year of degree; additional substitutions possible.
• Alternative degrees (JD, MBA) may substitute for the required experience.
• One year as a Fiscal Analyst in the Judicial Council or a comparable role is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex budget documents for the Judicial Branch’s annual budget.
• Develop and maintain budget reports, tables, trackers, and memos.
• Review SPWB project action packages and coordinate with DOF staff.
• Prepare COBCPs and fiscal documents for the budget galley.
• Provide advanced analysis on budget development, forecasting, and control.
