Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to drive monthly financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting. You will provide recommendations to P&L owners and support high-value pricing models, audits, and reporting systems.

The role requires GAAP expertise, 5+ years in P&L and close processes, and ERP experience (NetSuite/SAP/Dynamics). Hybrid schedule in Augusta, GA with in-office days and flexible remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in P&L and budget analysis, month-end close, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong GAAP knowledge.
• ERP software experience (NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics).
• Experience with BI tools such as Hyperion, TM1, or Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial expenses and revenues versus budget for designated cost centers.
• Provide strategic financial recommendations to P&L owners.
• Support month-end close activities, including audit reviews and adjusting journal entries.
• Collaborate on pricing models for multimillion-dollar client proposals.
• Monitor financial interactions with clients, employees, and temporary staff, identifying trends.
• Prepare and input monthly journal entries to the general ledger.
• Maintain and refine reporting systems to generate key financial information.
• Assist with annual financial preparations for external audits.
• Develop monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial data for division managers and senior leadership.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Drive strategic initiatives with senior management.
