Job summary

Friedman Williams is seeking an experienced finance professional to support financial analysis, planning, reporting, and internal controls. You will work closely with senior finance leadership and play a key role in month-end and year-end close, budgeting, financial reporting, banking operations, audits, and process improvement.

The role requires 4–7 years of progressive finance experience, advanced Excel and BI tooling, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; advanced degree preferred.
• 4–7 years progressive finance or accounting experience.
• Proficient Excel with pivot tables, formulas, and macros.
• Experience with financial modeling and BI tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly and year-end financial reports and journal entries.
• Analyze cash activity and balance sheet across offices and currencies.
• Coordinate annual financial audit and liaise with external auditors.
• Lead month-end review meetings and prepare reporting packages.
• Support budgeting with department leaders and senior management.
• Distribute reports and analysis to senior management.
• Monitor banking operations, cash management, and reconciliations.
• Oversee escrow transactions and related reconciliations.
• Prepare expense allocations and insurance-related schedules.
• Assist with financial systems, BI reporting, and process improvements.
• Support ad hoc analysis and special projects for senior management.
• Review and approve bank reconciliations and maintain internal controls.
