Job summary

Grand Canyon Conservancy’s Field Institute seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead the development and management of field programs, including curriculum creation, staff supervision, budget oversight, risk management, and logistics. Qualifications

• 3–5 years managing day and multiday educational programs for adults, children and intergenerational audiences.
• Experience supervising full/part-time and seasonal staff, curriculum development, budgeting and risk policies.
• Outdoor programs focus and field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Field Institute visitor programs, including governance, strategy and annual planning.
• Develop curriculum, supervise 15–20 guides, and ensure program quality on-site at the South Rim.
• Manage budget, invoicing, contracts, policies, and SOPs for the program.
• Lead risk management, monitoring and evaluation to show outcomes and impact.
• Coordinate with GCC marketing, GRCA, and internal departments to grow offerings.
