Job summary

PAE is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer-Discipline Lead in our Los Angeles office to drive technical excellence and discipline management on our most complex projects. You will shape project workplans, mentor staff, and coordinate with clients and internal teams to deliver end-to-end electrical systems that meet schedule and budget.

Experience in power distribution, lighting design, code compliance, and PE credentials will enable you to lead multi-disciplinary efforts and build lasting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• PE license or other professional credential required.
• 5–10 years of related work experience; 2–4 years in electrical engineering lead roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and manage discipline delivery across projects.
• Prepare deliverables: narratives, calculations, drawings, specifications.
• Attend client meetings and coordinate with internal and external teams.
• Independently evaluate and apply engineering judgment from concepts through construction.
• Oversee electrical distribution, lighting design and system analyses; mentor staff.
