Job summary

Siemens Industry Software Inc. in California is hiring a Product Engineer to help shape the evolution of our EDA tools. You will work in a dynamic R&D team, contribute to software development for processors and chips, and support customers worldwide.

You will engage in the full lifecycle from design to deployment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, present solutions at trade shows, and help customers optimize front-end design flows.

Qualifications

• An engineering school degree, a Master's degree, or a PhD in microelectronics, with relevant experience in ASIC front-end design or EDA.
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments and scripting with Tcl and Python
• Very good knowledge of RTL languages (Verilog, VHDL, and SystemVerilog) and collateral languages (IP-XACT, UPF, SDC, LEF/DEF).
• Very good knowledge of front-end ASIC design tools, including SoC design integration, synthesis, verification (including simulation), and timing constraints management.
• Good analytical problem-solving skills and very good spoken and written communication skills, especially in English.
• Preferred: Knowledge of back-end design.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the evolution and development of our EDA software solutions as part of the research and development team.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users of our software tools.
• Promote and present the Siemens EDA software offering through presentations, international trade shows, and visits to customers and prospects.
• Take part in the full customer lifecycle, from first contact to after-sales support, including follow-up of evaluations.
