Placements24 is seeking a Senior E-Learning Content Manager to oversee the creation and curation of high-quality digital learning content. The role combines remote work with on-site collaboration at East London, Eastern Cape, leading a team of developers and instructional designers to deliver engaging, accurate educational materials.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience, deep knowledge of e-learning best practices, and a passion for impactful learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications, or related field.
• 7+ years in e-learning content development and management, incl. 3+ years in leadership.
• Proven experience leading teams of content developers and instructional designers.
• In-depth knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and e-learning technologies.
• Experience with LMS and authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
• Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment in East London.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end e-learning content development from concept to deployment.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of instructional designers and content developers.
• Develop and implement content strategies aligned with goals and market needs.
• Establish and maintain content quality standards, style guides, and review processes.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
• Oversee selection and integration of learning technologies and tools.
• Analyze content performance metrics and user feedback to drive improvement.
• Manage content budgets and project timelines effectively.
• Stay abreast of trends and innovations in e-learning and digital content creation.
