Job summary

Visteon Corporation seeks a Sr. Display & Optics Engineer to lead cross-functional teams from concept through early technology prototypes here in Michigan.

The role requires designing display-related hardware and software, updating FPGA and microcontroller code, and driving proof-of-concept work that advances our automotive display capabilities. The hybrid position allows work both from home and our office at One Village Center Drive, Van Buren Township, MI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 1 year of experience in the automotive display industry.
• Experience in FPGA (Verilog and VHDL) and microcontroller (C++) programming.
• Experience in Analog and Digital Circuit Design.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team through concept to proof-of-concept for display technology.
• Define project scope and collaborate with strategic supplier partners to deliver innovative display solutions.
• Plan execution schedules with stakeholders from finance, engineering, manufacturing and procurement.
• Update FPGA/microcontroller code and hardware design to implement image enhancement algorithms and display performance improvements.
