Job summary

This position, based in Cumberland County, PA, directs and manages the County’s three disbursement processes (Accounts Payable, Payroll and Retirement) and provides oversight of accounting, reporting and audit functions. You will collaborate with the 1st Deputy Controller and other senior management on financial operations and compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
• Advanced degree or professional certification (MBA, CPA) preferred.

• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations and internal controls.
