Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist, Digital Product Owner to lead data product strategy within the Global Quality team. You’ll shape vision, roadmaps and priorities while partnering with data engineers and business teams to deliver AI-enabled solutions on cloud platforms.

This role bridges business and technical delivery to drive measurable value, improve quality, and enable data-driven decisions across functions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, information systems, engineering, statistics or mathematics required.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in data science, analytics, data products or related fields.
Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives with stakeholders and data teams.
Strong experience with Agile delivery and product management practices.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and strategic thinking skills.
Experience in highly regulated environments (medical devices/healthcare/manufacturing) advantageous.

Responsibilities

Partner with business leaders to identify high-value opportunities and translate into product requirements.
Define and prioritize user stories, acceptance criteria and delivery milestones using Agile methods.
Support product planning and communicate roadmap progress to senior leadership.
Establish KPIs and success metrics focused on adoption and business impact.
Govern enterprise data products with metadata standards and governance controls; ensure compliance.
Collaborate with Data Engineering to design scalable data products and cloud-based analytics.
