Job summary

Software Resources, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to join the Decision Science and Integration (DDSI) team on a contract basis. The role is hybrid in Lake Buena Vista, FL, with 4 days on-site and Fridays remote.

You will own end-to-end data pipelines, work across domains (Entertainment, Sports, Experiences, Corporate Finance), and apply GenAI techniques to production data solutions. Strong Python/SQL and cloud data warehousing experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technology experience.
• Strong experience developing and maintaining ELT/ETL data pipelines.
• Proficiency with Python and SQL.
• Understanding of database and data warehouse design (PostgreSQL, Snowflake).
• Solid understanding of GenAI concepts including LLMs, embeddings, and prompt engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and implement systems for advanced analytic data solutions.
• Aggregate and manipulate data for science models, visualizations, and apps.
• Leverage GenAI tools to build AI-based solutions.
• Perform data requirements gathering and source-to-target mapping.
• Develop and review data validation scripting.
• Develop and monitor ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Produce datasets for science models and visualizations.
• Participate in technical reviews to ensure quality.
