Job summary

CFS in Boston is seeking a Senior Corporate Accounting Manager to lead critical accounting functions and oversee the close process, consolidations, financial reporting, and accounting operations. This role partners with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of progressive corporate accounting, 3+ years in leadership, and strong US GAAP knowledge. CPA is strongly preferred, with experience in financial services or multi-currency

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
8+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience.
3+ years of accounting leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for multiple entities.
Review journal entries, reconciliations, variance analyses, and general ledger activity.
Oversee multi-entity consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and financial statement preparation.
Manage accounts payable and payroll operations.
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Maintain the chart of accounts and support process improvements, automation, and systems enhancements.
Mentor accounting staff and partner with FP&A, Tax, Legal, and HR teams on key initiatives.
