NetImpact Strategies seeks a Senior Communications professional to support federal client initiatives, ensuring clear messaging across stakeholders. The role emphasizes communications planning, stakeholder engagement, and change management for mission-critical transformations.

The position requires on-site presence 3 days a week near Scott AFB, IL and residence within 50 miles. A Secret Clearance is eligible and the candidate will lead diverse content and social media efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in communications or PR with a track record of leading initiatives.
• Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear messaging.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• US Citizenship and eligibility for Secret Clearance.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Scott AFB, IL.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a representative aligning with organizational priorities through effective communication and relationship management.
• Understand client needs and preferences to enhance customer experience and expand services.
• Develop storytelling and editorial direction for communication artifacts and ensure consistency in messaging.
• Use visual storytelling to communicate complex changes and help stakeholders adopt new processes.
• Craft messages aligning with brand and strategic goals, ensuring clarity and engagement for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with OCM specialists, graphic designers, and client to align with assessments and insights.
• Supervise design and creation of graphics and digital media for change communications across formats.
• Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and reach among stakeholders.
• Monitor social media trends and ensure consistent messaging across channels.
