Job summary

Greenberg Traurig, LLP is seeking a Senior Cloud Email Security Analyst to support and improve cloud email security for a large Microsoft 365 environment. You will administer Proofpoint and Exchange Online protections, investigate threats, and coordinate with Security, Legal, and vendor teams.

The role requires a strong foundation in email security technologies, incident response, and automation using PowerShell/APIs, with hybrid office options and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, CS, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in enterprise messaging or cybersecurity with 3 years in direct email security admin in a Microsoft 365 environment.
• Production experience with Proofpoint, Exchange Online, EOP, and Defender for Office 365.
• Experience handling complex email security incidents, platform changes, policy updates, upgrades, or service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Administers, monitors, maintains, and tunes enterprise email security platforms (Proofpoint, Microsoft 365).
• Supports Exchange Online, EOP, Defender for Office 365, mail-flow features, and related protection.
• Manages inbound/outbound mail flow in cloud/hybrid environments; ensures secure relay.
• Manages email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, TLS, DNS, certificates) and onboarding of third-party senders.
• Investigates phishing, BEC, spoofing, malware and other email threats; performs threat hunting and remediation.
