Qualifications

• Three+ years of experience in an insurance claim environment, preferably personal lines automobile.
• Experience as a Casualty Claim Adjuster or similar position.
• Auto Adjuster License/Property & Casualty License required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Address unrepresented and represented bodily injury claims.
• Obtain recorded statements to establish liability and verify coverage.
• Determine appropriate course for damages extent.
• Communicate claims procedures to involved parties verbally and in writing.
• Review injury-related documentation for accuracy and settlements.
• Engage attorneys and injured parties to resolve claims for realistic amounts.
• Apply comparative negligence to third-party claims when needed.
• Document activities in claim file notes clearly and concisely.
• Issue claim payments and pursue recovery where possible.
