Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Senior Billing EDI Analyst in Burlington, NC or Durham, NC, offering a hybrid schedule with three in-office days and two remote days per week. The role emphasizes monitoring healthcare EDI transactions, root-cause analysis, and leading testing/validation for payer onboarding and platform upgrades.

The position also involves SOP creation, process documentation, and mentoring junior analysts to strengthen revenue cycle operations and transaction accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of healthcare analytical experience analyzing operational data, reporting outputs, or performance metrics in healthcare AND 3+ years supporting healthcare billing EDI
• Associate’s degree with 7+ years of healthcare analytics experience AND 5+ years supporting healthcare billing EDI
• High School Diploma with 9+ years of healthcare analytics experience AND 7+ years supporting healthcare billing EDI

Responsibilities

• Review, monitor, and analyze healthcare EDI transactions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Investigate and resolve complex EDI transmission, mapping, eligibility, claim status, remittance, and payment issues.
• Lead testing and validation activities for EDI implementations and payer onboarding.
• Create and maintain SOPs, workflows, and training materials.
• Mentor EDI Analyst team members on troubleshooting and workflows.
