Job summary

The Recruiting Hive in Beachwood is seeking a Senior Auditor for a hybrid, full-time role. You will lead diverse audit assignments, mentor staff, and ensure GAAP/OCBOA compliance while supporting client operations.

Ideal candidates have 3-4 years in public accounting, a CPA or active candidacy preferred, and strong analytical and time-management skills to manage multiple engagements with accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications

• Public accounting experience in a professional setting.
• CPA certification or active candidacy preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities for multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with accounting software (CCH Engagement, Creative Solutions Fixed Assets, PPC Checkpoint Tools, QuickBooks) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute diverse accounting/auditing assignments with minimal supervision.
• Mentor staff accountants and ensure high-quality work.
• Prepare workpapers and financial statements in accordance with GAAP/OCBOA.
• Assist in planning and scheduling client engagements and ensure deadlines.
• Recommend improvements to internal controls and operations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to minimize disruption during engagements.
