Job summary

CohnReznick’s Baltimore office is seeking an Assurance Senior Associate to join our Affordable Housing Audit Practice. You’ll lead audit engagements, mentor junior staff, and deliver exceptional client service while contributing to firm growth and operational excellence.

You will join a team dedicated to community development and cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid work environment, with in-person collaboration expected about three days per week.

Qualifications

• CPA or CPA eligibility.
• 3+ years of assurance experience, preferably in affordable housing or real estate.
• Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead engagements and develop others.
• Knowledge of audit software Caseware a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple audit projects and monitor success metrics.
• Communicate effectively with clients, leadership, and global team members.
• Ensure compliance with firm standards and promote security awareness.
• Apply advanced technical knowledge and stay current with industry trends.
• Deliver high-quality work and oversee risk management.
• Mentor junior staff and support their development.
• Identify business opportunities and support cross-selling efforts.
• Model world-class client service and executive presence.
• Engage in firm initiatives and promote a culture of inclusion and agility.
• Apply advanced Excel proficiency to enhance accuracy and efficiency
