Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Transaction Tax Audit team within the Finance organization. The role focuses on state and local transaction taxes, including sales/use and telecom taxes, and requires a hybrid work arrangement with three days in office each week.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of transaction tax experience and a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or similar field.
• 3+ years of transaction tax experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of transaction tax audits from notice to closure
• Determine what auditors need and ensure audits are conducted in accordance with applicable laws
• Compile and analyze large datasets from multiple sources
• Reconcile complex telecom and transaction tax returns for multiple tax types and jurisdictions
• Analyze state and local transaction tax statutes and regulations to determine their application to T-Mobile’s goods and services
• Communicate and negotiate with auditors throughout the audit process
• Prepare reports on audit findings and recommendations to senior management
