Job summary

T-Mobile USA, Inc. in Frisco, TX is seeking a Senior Analyst, Transaction Tax Audit to join the Finance team. This hybrid role requires three days in the office each week and focuses on state and local transaction taxes, including sales/use and telecom taxes.

You will manage audits from start to finish, analyze large data sets, reconcile returns, and communicate with auditors while providing recommendations to leadership. 3+ years of tax audit experience and a bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of transaction tax experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or similar field.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of transaction tax audits from notice to closure.
• Determine what auditors need and ensure audits are conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
• Compile and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
• Reconcile complex telecom and transaction tax returns for multiple tax types and jurisdictions.
• Analyze state and local transaction tax statutes and regulations to determine their application to T-Mobile's goods and services.
• Communicate and negotiate with auditors throughout the audit process.
• Prepare reports on audit findings and recommendations to senior management.
