Job summary

Capital One is seeking an AML Global Payment Network (GPN) Senior Risk Manager to lead second-line risk management, ensuring AML strategies align with laws and regulations across the business and partners. You will drive initiatives to strengthen the risk control environment and address regulatory requirements with senior leaders.

The role collaborates with legal, accounting, and government relations to resolve complex issues and design scalable AML programs while working in a hybrid setup

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• At least 5 years of AML compliance or financial services risk management experience.
• At least 1 year of working experience with USA PATRIOT Act and BSA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an AML subject matter expert, providing actionable compliance advice to business partners and internal management on products, services, processes, and regulatory applicability.
• Advise business lines on the implementation, operation, and enhancement of the global AML Risk Management Program and internal processes.
• Direct the documentation, implementation, and dissemination of AML policies, procedures, and controls.
• Consult with cross-functional experts to address complex legal, technical, and regulatory issues.
• Design and implement initiatives that improve AML soundness, communication, and enforcement across units.
