CrowdStrike is seeking an experienced engineering leader to architect and deliver scalable backend services across hybrid environments. You will work on Golang microservices, data pipelines, and AI-enabled risk insights to protect customers worldwide.

Lead end-to-end delivery, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to push innovation while maintaining high availability and performance. Hybrid role in Sunnyvale, CA or Redmond, WA with 2–3 days in the office.

Qualifikationen

• 8-10 years of production experience building, delivering, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.
• Advanced programming expertise in object-oriented languages with strong typing (Golang and Python).
• Proven microservices experience with designing scalable REST APIs and distributed communication patterns.
• Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge with AWS, Azure, and GCP for provisioning, monitoring, and optimization.
• Solid distributed systems understanding including concurrency, parallel processing, and scalability patterns.
• Kafka experience including design, throughput, lag monitoring, and performance considerations.
• Experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making and workflows.
• PostgreSQL and Redis experience for data storage and caching.
• System troubleshooting and resilient architecture design.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Backend Architecture: Design and develop scalable backend services powering internal and customer-facing apps.
• Developer Tools: Create CLI utilities and APIs that integrate with our platform.
• Infrastructure Design: Architect databases, real-time data pipelines, and monitoring solutions.
• Cross-team Collaboration: Align with UX/UI, Sensors, and other teams with clear documentation.
• Operational Excellence: Implement monitoring, alerting, and ensure high availability.
• Continuous Innovation: Drive architectural improvements and performance optimizations.
• Technical Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and contribute to technical decisions.
• Service Reliability: Maintain robust operations and incident response capabilities.
