Job summary

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager in Boston, MA. This role supports a technology-enabled accounting delivery model across multiple clients and entities, reporting to a Partner.

The position offers a full-time hybrid work arrangement with a salary range of $95K–$130K plus a 5%–15% performance bonus. Local candidates able to come onsite as needed are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of accounting experience with public accounting or strong industry close experience.
• Senior level in public accounting; Big 4 or large regional firm experience preferred.
• CPA not required but preferred; biotech, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly close activities across multiple clients, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide clear explanations for client reporting.
• Work across ERP and technology-enabled accounting tools while ensuring financial data integrity.
• Manage multiple client workflows and prioritize deliverables within defined close timelines.
• Partner with Finance Managers and Associates to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.
