Job summary

WM is seeking a Senior Accountant or Junior Controller to own full cycle accounting in a hybrid work setting. You will manage general ledger, journal entries, accruals, and month-end close while ensuring US GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 5 years accounting experience, including 3 years in mid-to-senior roles.
• Experience in a mid-to-large company and full cycle accounting.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented thinking.

Responsibilities

• Own full cycle accounting including general ledger, journal entries, accruals and month-end close.
• Prepare financial statements and perform variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and maintain internal controls.
• Partner with finance and business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare highly complex journal entries and assist with year-end closings.
• Coordinate preparation of monthly financial packages and reports.
