Job summary

Lakefield Veterinary Group in Kent, WA is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our hybrid office. You will manage revenue cycle accounting, monthly closes, reconciliations, and process improvements across multiple locations.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s or master’s in accounting, 3–4 years of experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics or comparable ERP. CPA preferred; compensation ranges from $82,000 to $105,000 with eligibility for Lakefield’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Master’s degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
• 3-4 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent ERP.

Responsibilities

• Revenue cycle accounting, journal entries to the GL.
• Assist in monthly closing of all P&L and balance sheet accounts and research discrepancies.
• Review hospital P&L’s, explain and correct variances as appropriate.
• Complete assigned account reconciliations including AR and cash.
• Improve processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Provide audit documentation and schedules as requested.
• Other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.
