Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Segment Risk Specialist to partner with the Segment Operational Risk Manager in administering the corporate risk program, identifying key risks and controls, and testing those controls. This role emphasizes policy/documentation, risk self‑assessments, and regulatory issuances within the business segment.

Responsibilities include ensuring timely testing, aiding remediation, and fostering a risk‑aware culture in a flexible office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent risk‑related experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in Audit, Compliance, Risk Management or Operational Risk.
• In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 4 additional years of segment‑specific or risk experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Policy/Controls and Process Documentation.
• Perform the risk and control self‑assessments.
• Develop and enhance an operational and regulatory risk program.
• Identify, assess, communicate and implement regulatory issuances.
• Ensure timely completion of testing requirements.
• Assist in remediation of issues in the business segment.
• Help foster risk awareness across the business.
