Job summary

CACI International Inc seeks a Security Solutions Architect to lead design, integration, and optimization of enterprise security tools across the program. You will evaluate technologies, advise leadership on capabilities, and drive automation and modernization efforts.

The role is hybrid in National Harbor, MD, requiring strong collaboration with senior engineers, operations teams, and government stakeholders to ensure secure-by-design solutions that meet mission objectives.

Qualifications

• Ability to attain DHS EOD.
• ITIL V4 Foundations certification (or obtained within first 6 months).
• Bachelor's degree plus 15+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 12 years of relevant experience (equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree)
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT security, including SIEM, EDR, Vulnerability Management, PAM, network detection, etc.
• Experience with vulnerability management platforms; experience with Qualys is preferred.
• Experience evaluating, architecting, and integrating security tools within a complex environment
• Experience presenting technical material to client and government audiences
• Strong technical judgment and ability to communicate complex material clearly to varied audiences
• Experience managing technicians with varying skill levels and supporting end users remotely
• Experience with security tools and technologies, e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls)
• Professional, customer-oriented, calm under pressure
• Effective communicator at all levels, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Lead and engage in tool architecture, data flows, and integration design across security tool portfolio.
• Evaluate emerging technologies against program requirements and identify gaps in proposed solutions.
• Translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions and promote secure-by-design practices.
• Guide implementation of new capabilities across existing and emerging security platforms.
• Represent the program in meetings with senior government officials.
• Provide technical input for budget planning, vendor evaluations, and technology refresh planning.
• Automate security tool health checks, status reporting, and alert enrichment for automated triage workflows.
• Lead modernization efforts by consolidating tools, standardizing configurations, and improving data ingestion pipelines.
• Support proof-of-concept activities, pilots, and evaluations of new security technologies.
• Ensure solutions align with policies, standards, and enterprise architecture principles.
