Job summary

WuXi AppTec Group is seeking a Security Engineer to implement, maintain and improve security across US/EU environments. You will configure SIEM/EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS and DLP, monitor alerts, investigate incidents and coordinate remediation with IT teams.

The role requires 4+ years in security, Bachelor's or equivalent, and preferred CISSP/CISM/ Security+ or CySA+ certifications. Hybrid work model in Saint Paul MN and related environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in security or equivalent work experience.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP/CISM/Security+ or CySA+ preferred.
• 4+ years in cybersecurity roles with hands-on security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage security technologies across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Monitor, triage and respond to security alerts and incidents.
• Develop and tune detection rules and alerting use cases.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation with IT teams.
• Maintain secure configurations for endpoints, servers and cloud resources.
