Job summary

Iridium Communications Inc. is seeking a Security Analyst/FSO to oversee physical and personnel security across facilities, ensuring compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM and ICD 705. You’ll coordinate clearances, lead audits, interact with DCSA, and guide security programs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of security management experience, FSO/CDSE certification, and the ability to travel up to 10%. A hybrid work schedule and Top Secret/SCI clearance are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 5+ years of physical security management experience with 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM and ICD 705.
• FSO course certification (CDSE) required.
• Knowledge of government security requirements and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Facility Security Officer or similar role across multiple facilities.
• Coordinate personnel security clearance requirements per SEAD 3 and regulations.
• Lead government security reviews, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Interact with DCSA and other government entities.
• Investigate security violations and report per requirements.
• Support security awareness education for all employees.
• Review contracts and DD254s for security requirements.
