Job summary

Iridium is seeking a Security Analyst/FSO to manage physical security across multiple facilities under 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Rule and ICD 705. The role supports SEAD 3 clearances, government reviews, and CH/COMSEC duties while collaborating with contracts and program management.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in a related field, 5+ years of security leadership, and a CDSE-certified FSO along with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in physical security per 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Rule and ICD 705.
• FSO courses and CDSE certification required.
• Knowledge of DISS/eAPP/NBIS/SWFT/NISS and government security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Facility Security Officer (FSO) or equivalent for multiple facilities.
• Coordinate and manage personnel security clearance requirements per SEAD 3 and regs.
• Lead government security reviews and self-inspections; drive corrective actions.
• Interact with DCSA and other government entities.
• Conduct investigations into security incidents and ensure timely reporting.
