Job summary

Children's Hospital Association in Lenexa, KS, is seeking a Security Administrator for a hybrid role. You will drive day-to-day security operations and improve the control environment across on-premises and cloud environments.

The role focuses on identity governance, data protection, vulnerability management, and AI governance while collaborating across teams to ensure scalable, compliant security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information security, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in IT or information security administration, including 2+ years in a security-focused role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 security administration in cloud/hybrid environments.
• Experience integrating systems and security tools using APIs, SSO, SCIM; scripting/automation skills.
• Working knowledge of NIST CSF, HIPAA, and ISO 27001; SOC2 evidence review experience.
• Experience with vulnerability/endpoint management, patching, and change management.
• Strong communication, documentation, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and improve integrations between security tools and enterprise systems.
• Support identity and access governance activities, including access reviews and password management.
• Assist security risk management activities, vendor assessments, and data protection initiatives.
• Monitor vulnerability management, endpoint security, and security awareness training.
• Contribute to AI governance, Shadow IT management, and cloud security modernization.
• Develop documentation, standards, and security processes for consistency and compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot issues and support security projects.
