6 Degrees Search is recruiting a Senior Associate Attorney for its Securities Litigation & Enforcement Practice Group in Boston. Hybrid location with opportunities to handle sophisticated securities class actions, shareholder disputes, and regulatory investigations for public companies and financial institutions.

The role requires a JD from a top-tier law school, active MA/NY/CA bar admission, and 4–7 years of securities litigation experience.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in MA, NY or CA in good standing
• 4–7 years of substantive securities litigation experience
• Experience litigating securities matters in federal courts and/or Delaware Court of Chancery
• Experience representing public companies, boards of directors, officers, financial institutions, and other corporate clients

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex securities class actions, shareholder litigation, and related disputes
• Defend public companies, boards, officers, directors, and financial institutions in high-stakes securities matters
• Draft and argue motions, briefs, pleadings, and appellate filings in federal and state courts
• Manage all aspects of discovery, including document review, witness prep, deposition strategy, and expert coordination
• Handle shareholder derivative actions, fiduciary duty claims, and governance disputes
• Assist clients responding to shareholder demands, internal investigations, and related risks
• Support SEC investigations, enforcement actions, and parallel regulatory proceedings
• Participate in mediations, settlements, and strategic resolutions
• Collaborate across litigation, corporate, white collar, investigations groups
• Conduct sophisticated legal analysis involving securities laws and governance
